Our Core Social Responsibility Principles

1. We do not employ child labor within our company.

2. We do not force or compel our employees to work. We grant our employees the right to terminate their employment contracts within an appropriate timeframe.

3. We provide a safe and healthy working environment. We take all necessary steps to prevent potential health and safety incidents, as well as occupational injuries or illnesses arising during work.

4. We manage the environmental impacts of all our activities with a sense of responsibility.

5. We do not tolerate any form of discrimination based on race, color, gender, political opinion, belief, religion, sect, age, physical disability, social class, national or social origin, family responsibilities, marital status, or similar reasons.

6. We ensure equal opportunities among our employees.

7. We do not tolerate any form of verbal or physical threats, insults, exploitation, emotional or sexual harassment, including violations of personal inviolability.

8. We treat our employees with respect and dignity. We do not permit any form of corporal punishment or inhumane treatment.

9. We are against all forms of bribery and corruption and strictly prohibit the acceptance or giving of bribes to comply with relevant laws and principles.

10. We regulate wages, working hours, annual leave, and social rights in accordance with the laws, ensuring at least one day off after six consecutive working days.

11. We develop approaches to ensure that our suppliers and all our business partners adhere to Petek Plastik's Code of Ethics and Work Principles standards in the field of social responsibility.

What Have We Done for Life?

As Petek Plastik, with the aim of protecting, empowering, and improving the working conditions of our employees, we act in all our activities with an awareness of social responsibility and ethical principles as part of our core values and principles. We ensure joint participation of employees and management and accept these fundamental principles as an unchangeable part of our management approach.

In this context, we ensure that all our suppliers and/or stakeholders that make up Petek Plastik manage their economic, social, and environmental impacts responsibly and keep the development of society as a top priority. We determine our social responsibility understanding and priorities by considering what is best for society and the environment.

The ethical rules and working principles defined in our Personnel Handbook (PEK), which we have prepared and implemented within the framework of Social Responsibility Principles, guide our conduct in the business world.

My Forest 3

We, as Petek Plastik, supported and contributed to the sapling planting event organized in the Kadınhanı district of our city, Konya, within the scope of the "My Forest" initiative, to help increase green spaces. It is estimated that if the planted saplings are well protected, they will significantly contribute to the natural beauty of our district in the near future.

As part of the "My Forest" project organized by ÇEVKOR, we brought 1,000 saplings together with the soil in Kurşunlu/Sarayönü district.

"Breath for the Future" Event in Kurşunlu

As part of the "Breath for the Future" event held in the Kurşunlu neighborhood of Sarayönü, saplings were planted to contribute to green spaces. Sponsored by Petek Plastik, a total of 2,500 saplings will be planted in the neighborhood. It is estimated that if the saplings are well protected, they will significantly enhance the natural beauty of Kurşunlu in the near future.

We Sponsored Our National Athlete

We sponsored Büşra Erdem, a 4th-year student in the Physical Education and Sports Teaching Department of Selçuk University’s Faculty of Sports Sciences. She won third place in the traditional gunshu category for adults aged 18-35 at the 5th Traditional Wushu Kung Fu European Championship held in Moscow. We congratulate our athlete.

We Welcomed University Students to Our Company

Research assistants and doctoral and master’s students specializing in the Faculty of Medicine at Necmettin Erbakan University visited our company to observe occupational health and safety practices on site.

We Hosted Students from the Field of Plastic Technology

We hosted students and teachers from the Plastic Technology Department of Konya Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School at our company.

100% Support for Education

As part of our company’s 100% support for education initiative, we donated a plastic injection molding machine to Konya Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School to be used for educational purposes in the field of Plastic Technology.

The machine has been delivered to the school and will be available for students in the new academic year.
